Photo Mapo app good for
Yes, "impressive" is what my friends say when I send them a Photo Mapo card. It so simple to keep them up to date and tempt them to follow my travels. Ive been able to include my terrific iPhone photos from plenty of remote spots. In sure youll live this app too!
Im not a very good photographer, but I love to travel. This app allows me to save iconic travel photos with a little more pizazz. Its handy to see where I was in the world. And sharing those postcard type images on facebook has been a big hit.
I originally picked this up for traveling, but using it more for work as I do lots of "site visits" to check on construction. This helps me remember the address and create a nice photo for the project. (With a minimap in the corner of the photo).
Definitely recommending to co-workers.

Some bad moments
I love this app! Ive emailed three times, and the developer(s) replied the same day. Im hoping they add more styles. Thanks for this fun-to-use and well written program!
Update: Thank you SO much for the latest update! Its great being able to enter the address for pics with no gps location! Im hoping now for more styles, specifically one where the pic is side by side with the map and takes up half the space of the template! Thanks for all your hard work!!!
The app is wonderful but please PLEASE allow us to manually enter address for photos that are not geotagged.

I use Photo Mapo (kind of a corny name) to keep track of houses Ive seen and places Id like to return to. I take a photo of the For Sale sign (which usually has the agents phone number on it) making sure the house is in the background. Photo Mapo makes a great collage of the whole thing, with a map, description, photo and exif info from the photo. I really like the real time map zooming feature, too.
If you read some of my other reviews, youll see that I have no problem flaming substandard apps; but this isnt one of those, it really is awesome, and surprisingly polished and stable for only a version 1.x app. Well done, developers! Im looking forward to what you do next with the app.

When geo tagging is not enough, this is handy.
When I share a pic the person receiving the pig does not always have geo-tagging capabilities, so I really can get use out of this app.
